Joint Utilities of New York EV Make-Ready Program

  • Up to 100% of all make-ready costs for publicly accessible DC fast charging sites within one mile of a DAC
  • Up to 100% of all make-ready costs for publicly accessible Level 2 sites within one mile of a DAC
  • 100% of a standard utility line extension and/or connection to the utility meter
  • Up to 90% of all make-ready costs for publicly accessible commercial Level 2 or DC fast charging sites
  • Up to 50% of all make-ready costs for non-public access commercial Level 2 or DC fast charging sites
Participating utility companies include Central Hudson, conEdison, National Grid, NYSEG, RG&E, and Orange & Rockland.

PSEG Long Island EV Make-Ready Program

  • Up to 100% of publicly accessible Level 2 chargers within a low-income or environmental justice community
  • Up to 90% of publicly accessible Level 2 chargers
  • Up to 50% of nonpublic Level 2 chargers installed at workplaces and multi-unit dwellings or in light-duty fleet depots

The New York State Tax Credit for Public & Workplace Charging

Tax credit of up to $5,000 for the purchase and installation of EV charging stations available through the end of 2025

NYSERDA School Bus Incentive Program

NYSERDA is accepting Charging Voucher Applications on the first-come, first-served basis. Charging Vouchers offer rebates of up to $25,000 - $65,000, depending on the applicant and project type. These vouchers are based on electric school bus purchases, though they do not have to be purchased through this program. School Bus Vouchers are available for up to $135,000 per bus.
