STADIUMS APPLICATIONS

UV Lighting Solutions Applications / Stadiums
As states begin to ease up on group gatherings, we will see traditional experiences be modified to limit the risk of exposure to spectators. We may see things like reduced capacity seating, socially distanced seating, and reservation only dining. Regardless of modified procedures, there will still be a high demand for physical cleaning and sanitization methods. Stadiums and event venues' large crowds will make it difficult to keep high traffic areas sanitized. Fortunately, incorporating cleaning lighting as part of venue's cleaning routines assist custodial staff keeping high exposure areas as clean as possible.

Ways UV Lighting Can Keep Stadiums and Event Venues Safe

High Traffic Area

Social distancing and masks wearing will be crucial in these high traffic areas and entry lines. Technology has dramatically helped event staff reduce in-person ticket sales and reduce wait time with spectators check-in. Incorporating UV lighting and air disinfecting technology will sanitize the air and surfaces that are difficult clean by manual cleaning methods.

Shared Spaces

Many event venues are putting dining modifications in place, such as arranging tables to allow social distancing, adding plexiglass dividers between tables, and installing UV lighting to reduce pathogens in the air of dining areas. By incorporating UV lighting that focuses on sanitizing the upper air will remove airborne pathogens and will be safe for guests to remain in the space that is being sanitized.

Maintaining Sanitization

Kitchen areas need to ensure food is not being potentially contaminated and being spread to large amounts of people. To reduce risk, follow current risk prevention protocols while avoiding contaminating food with cleaners. Adding germicidal lighting to occupied areas adds a passive way to sanitize the air and surfaces by simply keeping the lights on without harmful side effects to workers in the space.
